Italy – a road trip around the Lake Garda

On Thursday, June 8, our good friends got married in a little village next to Bergamo. This merry occasion was a great chance to prolong the weekend and to go on a road trip around the Lake Garda. Garda is stunning, and the short trip was absolutely worth it! Breathtaking views, clear water, cozy towns and delicious food: you will find all this around the lake. In this post, you will find some useful tips on what to see, where to stay and what to eat if you stay in the North of Italy for a weekend.

New York, New York

Another perfect weekend getaway: Romania

Probably, Romania is one of few countries where any weather is reasonable and has its advantages. A day-trip from Madrid: charming Toledo

I would declare that Toledo is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Peaceful sandy colors, narrow cobblestone streets, beautifully decorated houses and impressive doors, wonderful views to the city roofs from various observation points. Besides, you need less than an hour to reach this city from Madrid. This all makes Toledo a perfect candidate for a day-trip from Madrid.

Our flight landed in Tehran at 2 o’clock at night and we didn’t have to wait in a line. We submitted our documents to a visa counter (a filled out form and passports, no photo) and were told to wait.
